Michelle Terwilliger, Certified Nurse Practitioner

My name is Michelle Terwilliger and I have been a nurse since 1995. For over 15 years my work has been focused on neurology patients, specializing in multiple sclerosis. During that time I worked on the Neuro IMCU/ICU unit where I have cared for many patients with neurological disorders. While working on this unit I received a grant which allowed me to focus mainly on patients with multiple sclerosis.

As part of this experience I had the opportunity to perform numerous IV therapy and educational training for multiple sclerosis patients, I have also participated in clinical research for MS patients. During the time spent closely with so many neurological patients, I found my passion and decided to pursue my Master's Degree in Nursing. I graduated in December of 2015 with my Family Nurse Practitioner degree and am excited to share my knowledge and experience with my patients at Midwest Neurology Associates.

I am a very proud parent of two boys Corey and Jack. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my youngest who is active in Crown Point Baseball, I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I became a Nurse Practitioner to make a difference in a field that I feel very compassionate towards. I look forward to making a difference in each and every one of our patients at Midwest Neurology Associates, I am proud to be a part of such a great team!
