Vanessa Almanza , NP

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana University Northwest. After 3.5 years as a cardiovascular bedside nurse, I made the decision to purse a higher level of education. I also have 1.5 years of experience working as an urgent care nurse. I went on to receive my Master of Science in Nursing, also at Indiana University Northwest, as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

One of my goals is to always provide the highest quality care to all patients, especially the underserved communities.

I am also bilingual in Spanish and strive to help bridge the gap within healthcare for the Spanish speaking community.

I maintain active memberships with Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioner, Indiana Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the National Society of Leadership & Success.
