Sarah Berber received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 2009 and spent the
majority of her nursing career working in the Emergency Department, where she took on various
leadership positions and earned multiple emergency certifications. Sarah then went on to further
her career and received her Master’s degree from Ball State University in 2020. She is board
certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Association of Nurse
Practitioners. Sarah is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner and the
American Academy of Neurology.
Sarah joins the Midwest Neurology team as our Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner. Sarah
has experience treating a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions including epilepsy,
ADHD, headaches, autism, tic disorders, insomnia, and childhood behavioral disorders. Sarah
has always had special interest in the pediatric population and wants to ensure each child
receives the best quality of care for their neurological concerns to ensure the greatest quality of
life.
Sarah is married with 3 children, 1 boy and 2 girls. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her
children’s extracurricular activities and attending Chicago sporting events with her husband
whenever possible.
